At 8am a super-exciting dump truck left 5 cubic yards of dirt on our driveway (garden mix actually, which is 1/3 each of topsoil, mushroom compost and leaf compost). We moved the dirt, (with the help of some good friends) and filled up our three garden beds.
Violet was also busy working on "her" garden in the front of the house. She helped to fill it with the dirt, and even helped pound in the stakes to hold a second layer of landscape timbers.
All in all, a very productive, and beautiful day!
Next up- irrigation and ordering seeds (probably should have done that already)
